The default zoom level shows Upper Tier Local Authorities (UTLA), such as Warwickshire. As you zoom in, the map displays Lower Tier Local Authorities (LTLA) and then at the local level, Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOA), as used by the Office for National Statistics for publishing local population data.
A key feature of this interactive map is the time-slider bar, which tracks weekly changes in the 7-day rolling rate of new cases (per 100,000 population) by specimen date, since the week ending on 09 July 2020.
